Community Reinvestment Act

CRA Public File

Your interest in Brady National Bank and our Community Reinvestment Program is appreciated.

Congress enacted the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) to encourage financial institutions to invest in their communities and foster public comment concerning performance under the Act. The Act is a reaffirmation of our longtime efforts, and we are proud of the way our Bank has strived to fulfill its obligations to the citizens of McCulloch County. CRA underscored what we have always practiced: being a good neighbor and serving our community.

When you Bank with Us, you Bank with Brady

Below you will find each of the sections of the Bank's CRA Public File available for review.

The Community Reinvestment Act of 1977 (CRA)  encourages certain insured depository institutions, like Brady National Bank, to help meet the credit needs of the communities in which they are chartered, including low- and moderate-income (LMI) neighborhoods, consistent with safe and sound operation of such institutions.

The CRA requires federal banking agencies to assess a given institution's record of meeting the credit needs of its entire community, including LMI neighborhoods, consistent with safe and sound operation of such institution, and take such record into account in its evaluation of an application for a deposit facility by such institution.

Brady National Bank's CRA performance is periodically evaluated by our regulator the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC). Banks are given four possible ratings following their evaluation: Outstanding, Satisfactory, Needs to Improve or Substantial Noncompliance.

Brady National Bank has maintained an Outstanding rating.
The public disclosure of the Bank's performance evaluation will be published here with our CRA Public File for your review.
